When you consider it, there are several other homes for sale competing with your property.  I will help you price your home competitively to attract qualified buyers.  The way I do this is by generating a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA) report, which will show you a range of prices being paid for homes in your region.  You can complete my online form to get a feel for your home's market value.


Preparing your house to sell ...

DECLUTTER YOUR SPACE

We all have stuff. Now is the time to declutter. Pack away seasonal items, unused items and excess décor. Counter tops and surfaces in your home should have minimal items, making spaces seem more open and spacious.

ORGANIZE

Organize what needs to stay. This includes kitchen and bathroom cabinets, closets, and additional storage rooms in your home. Buyers are imagining their belongings fitting into the space, and an organized home portrays care for the property as a whole.

MAKE MINOR REPAIRS

Often these small touch ups can really add value. Patch minor holes in walls, replace damaged ceiling tiles, and ensure windows and doors are functioning. Often a quick coat of neutral paint can brighten and refresh a room for a minimal cost.

MAKE YOUR HOUSE SPARKLE

Putting the time and effort into a deep clean has a huge return on investment. Washing walls, cleaning windows and doors, wiping out all appliances, vacuuming, and ensuring dust is removed under furniture is appreciated by buyers. It’s true… bathrooms and kitchens sell homes, so make sure they sparkle!

FOCUS ON CURB APPEAL

Don’t overlook the outside of your home. Buyers first impressions can be strongly influenced by a welcoming front door with simple greenery, trimmed hedges, and a maintained yard.

TIDY UP YOUR PET THINGS

It’s worth mentioning, because we all love our furry friends, but buyers may not. Put away pet items like food bowls and toys, and ensure when buyers walk in the door their noses and eyes aren’t put off.

Checklist for House Sale
