Happy June everyone!
As we come to the end of the spring season, it's clear that our real estate market has been in full bloom. This spring has seen a remarkable surge in property sales with sellers taking advantage of the favorable market condition as home prices have been strong. In many communities, we are navigating multiple offers again, resulting in properties selling over asking price.
One thing that hasn’t changed is that buyers’ expectations remain strong. They are looking for well-maintained homes that offer them peace of mind. Summer presents an ideal time to tackle your exterior renovation projects, such as updating windows, replacing old shingles, enhancing your landscaping and finishing those yard projects. These improvements not only boost your home’s curb appeal, but also ultimately increase the overall value to your home!
Yesterday’s exciting Bank of Canada announcement was welcome news to many. Interest rates have been a hot topic over the past year, sparking extensive discussions. With this positive development, I’m expecting that many aspiring buyers will return to the market, eager to find their dream homes.
My goal for these newsletters has always been to keep you informed on the market, offer some tips and trends for increasing your home value, and having a little fun with a recipe or two.
Cheers to summer!
